Byli to magowie żywiołów.

Miała pięć pięter, każde przyporządkowane innemu żywiołowi: Ziemi, Ogniowi, Wodzie, Powietrzu i… nieuchwytnemu piątemu żywiołowi - Duchowi.

Niewyjaśnione pożary pustoszyły lasy, rzeki występowały z brzegów, trzęsienia ziemi wstrząsały planetą, a śmiercionośne tornada szalały bez kontroli.

Taldor zasugerował wykorzystanie korzeni starożytnych drzew do związania furii Ziemi, podczas gdy Lyara zaproponowała wywołanie kontrolowanych pożarów, które wypaliłyby chaos i umożliwiły rozkwit nowego porządku. Riven podzielił się swoją wizją uspokojenia rzek delikatnym tańcem żyjących w nich stworzeń, a Sylas opowiedział, dość ogólnikowo, o planie rozproszenia śmiercionośnych wiatrów.

Elowen, zazwyczaj dość milczący, milczał milczeniem ciężkim i bezgłośnym.

In the land of Elaria, where magic flowed like a river and the forests whispered secrets to those who knew how to listen, a great conclave of magicians had gathered. These were no ordinary magicians. They were elementalists. Each possessed the power to command specific forces of nature.

The conclave was a rare gathering, convened only for matters of the utmost importance and urgency. This time, the whole of Elaria was under threat, and with it, the world, which was set to be plunged into darkness.

The heart of Elaria - the Spire of the Elements - was chosen as the venue. It was a vast, soaring structure in the midst of an ancient forest. It had five storeys, each dedicated to a different element: Earth, Fire, Water, Air and… the elusive fifth element - Spirit. Each floor was adorned with intricate carvings, tapestries and reservoirs-filled, for example, with living water or flames-representing the respective elements. As the mages gathered at the edges of the pools, their robes seemed to swirl with the colours of their chosen element.

Taldor, the master of Earth, bore the weight of the ages in the furrows carved by the years into his wise face. He greeted Lyara, the fiery mage, with a nod. She, in turn, exchanged pleasantries with Riven, the cheerful mage of the element of Water. The jovial Air mage, Sylas, lightened the sombre mood with a flippant remark thrown out in passing, whilst the elusive Spirit mage, Elowen, was rather ethereal. As usual, in fact.

The conclave had been convened due to a grave threat - the balance of the elements of Elaria had been disrupted. Unexplained fires were ravaging the forests, rivers were bursting their banks, earthquakes were shaking the planet, and deadly tornadoes were raging out of control.

Elowen, the Spirit mage, spoke first. His voice was as soft as a whisper from the afterlife.

- We must restore the balance of the elements. If we fail, Elaria will be engulfed by chaos…

The Conclave was to determine how to harness the power of the elements to heal the land. Taldor suggested using the roots of ancient trees to bind the fury of the Earth, whilst Lyara proposed setting controlled fires that would burn away the chaos and allow a new order to flourish. Riven shared his vision of calming the rivers through the gentle dance of the creatures living within them, whilst Sylas spoke, rather vaguely, of a plan to disperse the deadly winds.

Elowen, usually rather taciturn, remained silent, his silence heavy and soundless. His Spirit magic was a mystery to everyone. He alone knew that it was this very element that held the key to uniting the efforts of the other mages.
At last, he spoke:

- My dear friends, balance can be restored, but it will require the uniting of our hearts and the power of all the elements. We must harmonise our magic perfectly.

And so the magicians set to work, casting spells that wove the elements together in a complex yet rhythmic dance. Each of them put their heart and soul into it, and their bond with the elements seemed stronger than ever before. The Spire of the Elements itself seemed to dance, striving to contain all the energy of their spells.

Success came in time. The fires turned into controlled flames, the floods receded, the earthquakes subsided, and the tornadoes turned into a gentle breeze. Elaria began to heal.

As the mages gazed upon the renewed beauty of their world, they knew that it was unity and mastery of the elements that had saved Elaria from destruction. The power of the Elementals - for that is what they came to call themselves - was a force to be respected and nurtured. They swore to protect the world and its delicate balance for generations to come.

As a symbol of this covenant, they infused a touch of their magic into five rings, which they concealed in a crypt beneath the Spire. Sealed by a spell, to this day they perform a dance of harmony, guarding the balance of the wondrous world of Elaria.

With a renewed sense of purpose, the Elementals went their separate ways, returning to their lands, ready to watch over Elaria for all time.
